A Merrillville native, Dr. Kumar was raised by his mother, father, and two sisters in the small town of Crown Point, Indiana. He attended Merrillville High School where he graduated with honors in 2003 before attending the University of Southern Indiana where he earned his Bachelor?s Degree in Biology with a minor in business administration in 2007.
His Path Towards Becoming A Urologist:
Dr. Kumar grew up in Crown Point, IN, and graduated from Merrillville High School before pursuing a degree in Biology, with a minor in business administration from the University of Southern Indiana. After medical school and residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine – Indianapolis, he came back to Crown Point as a urologist where he had worked as an intern during his senior year of high school! He loves being able to give back to the community that gave so much to him.
