EV6 available for pre-order online, Sorento, Carnival, Stinger up by $30,000 Kia announces new 2023 model prices
With the introduction of new year models by Kia, Taiwan distributor Sime Darby Kia has recently announced on its official website some of the new 2023 models for August, including the Sorento, Carnival and Stinger. The EV6 is also available to pre-order online, with exclusive benefits including V2L external electrical power and free unlimited fast charging for one year with a cross-brand charging operator.
Firstly, the Sorento model range has dropped the entry-level Classic 7-passenger version, with the Deluxe 7-passenger version as the entry-level model for the New Year model. The 2023 Sorento models are all proposed to be priced at $30,000 higher than the old model, starting at $1.529 million, $1.589 million, $1.679 million, $1.679 million, $1.739 million and $1.699 million respectively.
The Kia Carnival 2023 will also be available in six trim levels – Classic 7, Deluxe 7, Deluxe 8, Premium 7, Premium 8 and Premium 7 – but again at $30,000 more than the previous model year, at $1.559 million, $1.719 million, $1.759 million, $1.919 million, $1.959 million and $2.129 million respectively. The price of the Stinger also remains unchanged at $20,000. The Stinger trim level also remains the same with the 2.0 EX, 2.0 GT Line and 3.3 GT AWD trim levels, all of which have been increased by $30,000 to $1,559,000, $1,859,000 and $2,359,000 respectively.
The 2023 Carnival trim level is proposed at $1,559,000, $1,719,000, $1,759,000, $1,919,000, $1,959,000 and $2,129,000 respectively. The 2023 Stinger trim level is proposed at $1,559,000, $1,859,000 and $2,359,000 respectively. The 2023 EV6, which is now available for online ordering, also remains the same, with four trim levels – Light Standard, Air Standard, Air Plus and GT-line e-AWD Plus – at the same prices as announced in April – $1.589 million, $1.739 million, $1.879 million and $2.099 million respectively.
